I was “pre-registered” to vote before I was 18 at the DMV. Do I have to do anything else to be able to vote? And how can I change my party affiliation?

Great question! Typically, once you turn 18, if you’re pre-registered you’ll be added to the voter registration list and able to cast your ballot. If you want to change party affiliations or confirm your status, the best bet is to contact your local election office. - Jack at Planned Parenthood
