In 14 different states, you can PRE-register to vote at 16. Those states include California, Colorado, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Hawaii, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Oregon, Rhode Island, Utah, Vermont, and Washington. Once you turn 18, that registration will go into effect and you’ll be ready to cast your first ballot! - Jack at Planned Parenthood
