Can I get her pregnant if I don’t ejaculate in her vagina?

Someone asked us:
can a girl get pregnant if I didnt ejaculate inside of her
If you had vaginal sex with a girl but didn’t ejaculate inside of her, there’s still a small chance she could get pregnant. If you’re positive you didn’t ejaculate anywhere near her vagina (and nothing dripped down into that area), then there’s a much smaller chance of pregnancy… but it’s still possible.
There is sometimes sperm in pre-cum (the small amount of liquid that oozes out of the penis when you’re turned on), and while a few sperm means a MUCH lower chance of pregnancy than the millions released when you ejaculate, it only takes one to do the job. In other words, it IS possible to get pregnant from pre-cum.
So if the thought of pregnancy is really stressful for you or for her, then withdrawal (pulling out before ejaculating) alone may not be the best birth control method for you. If it’s been less than five days since you had sex, you and she might be interested in getting emergency contraception, just in case. If you guys will be having sex again, the two of you can talk about how you can both protect yourselves so you won’t have to stress out every time you have sex: she can be using one of many different kinds of birth control, and you can be using a condom.
