To everyone who called their members of Congress, who marched in the streets, who spoke out at a town hall — thank you. Together we defeated Trumpcare, the worst bill for women’s health in a generation. Today’s victory is a powerful reminder that, together, our voices have the power change the world.

The health care repeal bill is moving in the Senate. Thirteen men are writing this bill behind closed doors. Trumpcare would gut maternity coverage, “defund” Planned Parenthood, and take away health care from millions. Defunding Planned Parenthood would cause a national health disaster — and the people who would be hurt most would be those struggling to get by.

5 Ways to PINK OUT on June 21st

1. Turn out to a #PinkOut event in your area.

We’ll be on the ground at rallies and events across the country – loud, proud, and in lawmakers’ faces. Find an event near you today. We need a massive show of strength at local offices to demonstrate just how much opposition there is to “defunding” Planned Parenthood and taking away people’s health care – whether you think your senators are with us or not.

If you don’t see an event in your community, try looking up an event hosted by one of our allies — and bring your own signs to #PinkOut the event.

2. No event near you? Pink Out after Dark.

1 light + 1 piece of plastic wrap + 1 red marker = a simple pink light for the world to see.

Show your community you stand with PP by pinking out your house lights at night. Pink holiday lights, pink tissue paper, pink flashlights – get creative!

You can also make a quick pink light by visiting ppaction.org/pink on your phone and holding it up at a rally or with friends in your neighborhood!

3. PinkOut the Internet

We’ve got to show the Senate we’re a force to be reckoned with.

Put pink lights on your door, pink signs in your window, pink buttons on your bag! Wear a pink outfit. Pink nails. Pink lips. Pink hair!

Then post it all to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, you name it – be sure to use the hashtag #IStandWithPP, and tag your Senators (more on that below).

4. Call Your Senators (again)

image

They. Have. To. Hear. From. Us. Even if you’ve done it before – do it again.

Honestly, set a daily reminder on your phone and call every day in June. Ten calls from one person are just as useful as calls from ten different people.

Text PINK to 22422 to make a call now or go to istandwithpp.org/callto call both of your U.S. senators, and then invite your friends to do the same! Wash, Rinse, Repeat.

5. Tag your Senators on Social Media

Senators (and their staff) will notice when you tag them. And believe us, they’re listening. Text PINK to 22422 to get to our unbelievably simple form at ppaction.org/post, which tags your senators and gives you a chance to edit the post. Personalize your message, and then share the tool with your friends!

Tweets count, too! If you have Twitter, Tweet at your senators and air your outrage. Not sure where to start? We do all the heavy lifting for you at ppaction.org/tweet, or Text PINK to 22422 to get the link. We’ve written some sample Tweets there to get you started. And, bonus, Tweet at your favorite celebrity to share and boost the signal!

We’re still fighting to keep Planned Parenthood health center doors open for 2.4 million patients. And we need you now more than ever!

We need you. Even if it feels like you’ve already done this. Even if it feels like you’ve told your story a million times. Even if you’ve already called your senator. Now is the time to step up and double down.

And no matter If you’re doing it for the first time or the millionth time, thank you. We couldn’t do it without you.
